Apple previously stated After Effects CC would not work in Developer Previews 1-6. The notes for version 7 don't mention it. Does it work in Preview 7?

Thanks!

Whoops. Sorry - meant After Effects CC (the latest version). Sorry about that. Apple has clearly stated in the notes on the previous versions that it wouldn't work. It wasn't in the Preview 7 notes, so I was wondering if that meant it works.

Are you a developer in dire need of finding out? If so, why not do the usual stuff and install DP 7 onto an extra volume and find out?

I am. I just happen to be traveling and am not near my development computer. I was curious to see if anyone tested it yet.

Unfortunately not!!!!!!!

What i am getting now tho is this instead of it crashing on start up.

Abobe will be releasing an update just before public release of Mavericks, as stated here http://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/kb/effects-launch-mac-os-109.html , so looks like we"ll have to wait till then :(

IMPORTANT: The After Effects CC (12.0.1) update fixes a crash on Mac OS X (v10.9). There is no need to install this update on any other operating system. After Effects CC (12.1) is coming soon for all operating systems and includes this same fix plus many more features and bug fixes.

Adobe After Effects CS6 (11.0.3) was released a little while ago with this fix, plus fixes for many other crashes and bugs. Details: http://adobe.ly/AE_CS6_1103

important notes about the After Effects CC (12.0.1) update for Mac OSX v10.9

important notes about the After Effects CC (12.0.1) update for Mac OSX v10.9:

Be sure that you are signed in and have activated the software—i.e., ensure that you are not running After Effects in free trial mode. The update will not work if you are running the application in trial mode.

This update is only available as a manual download (not through the Creative Cloud automatic update mechanism) to prevent users on versions of Mac OS X other than v10.9 (Mavericks) from installing it unnecessarily.
