iPad Does Air get Hot on 4G LTE

I have ipad 4 that gets hot on 4g LTE and even using hotspot. On the back and top on the front, on wifi at home its ok. Does the Air do the same?
If not will get one on a contract but don't want to be stuck with another hot iPad.

Any Phone/Tablet you use as a hotspot will get hot!

It gets ever so slightly warm but not hot like the 4th Gen.
