I am aware of how stupid this question seems but I can't figure it out. I currently have my iTunes sent up to stream to my stereo through and airport extreme/express (n network if this is somehow relevant) and I cannot figure out if I'm using bandwidth. I am a Comcast customer and with the new bandwidth cap I want to make sure I'm not going over. While I originally assumed that this streaming would not use anything (as at no point does this operation need my cable) I downloaded TraffiX and its reporting that I'm uploading at ~110 KB/s. Any help would be really appreciated.

It uses internal bandwidth, but not external. So your Mac is sending 100kb/s via WiFi but not onto the internet. You are not using any of your capped, external bandwidth.

Awesome. That's what I assumed but I wanted to be positive before I blew past 250. Thanks so much.
