I've tried AlertArtist and it does not theme biteSMS. Unless something has changed lately anyway.

I use Principium Beta 1 (available for free- Google is your friend) and it gives a nice black alert to biteSMS. I have AA and it does not show using bite. However, I can't say for sure it won't work, as Principium may be defeating it. I'm on the newest bite beta, btw.
