iPod Does Amazon know something we don't know.

Now I don't think a new Nano would be released on Tuesday but maybe a 16 GB version. If you look at the iPod Nano on Amazon it says

"Get $15 Worth of Free MP3 Downloads
Now through January 15, 2008, get $15 worth of free MP3 downloads with the purchase of this MP3 player from Amazon.com."

January 15th is the day of Macworld. It could be just a coincidence though.

I'd say coincidence. This is not all that uncommon as most retail places never actually put iPods on sale. They'll bundle them with a $5-25 giftcard or iTunes card.

Or they don't know but suspect something might be announced. I think that's a reasonable bet.
