does an imac g3 dv 2000 have a dvd/cd burner?

does a imac g3 summer 2000 dv model have a built in dvd burner? if not is there a way i can make my LG external DVD writer (MODEL SP80NB60) work with it? it has usb 2.0 connection type

i really need to burn my tiger disks, and the g3 is my only hope

The standard optical drive on the DV models is a DVD-ROM(this is what makes them "DV").

A USB burner should work.
