Not seen this discussed but has anyone tested yet the anti reflective coating on the main camera that was mentioned in the keynote to see if it removes some of the lens flare? I'm surprised Brian Tong didnt test it immediately as he had the guts to bring it up with Apple!

Also excited about that. I saw it in the comparison page on apple.com, didn't hear it in the keynote, but yes, the goal of this is definitely to remove the flaring issues every iPhone generation had. It was better with iPhone 15 Pro, but still.

I am interested in the Anti-reflective lens coating. How much will this improve the quality of pictures and videos?
Did the iPhone 15 Pro have any improvements regarding this problem over the iPhone 14 Pro?

Im not expecting for it to be solved, however if they can bring it up to match the quality of Samsung phones in this area that would be appreciated. Really noticed it on my 15 Pro compared to the 23 Ultra, noticeably worse

Lens flare has its place in photography.

There is just posted review of the photo & video features of the 16 Pro line.

It talks about lens flare and compares against the 15 Pro.

You just need to use a lens hood to solve this issue, although I’m not sure how you attach a lens hood to a phone?🤭
