Apple may be purposely leaking iphones so when WWDC comes around every one will be surprised by something totally different.

Like Kahnyl said, are the Sherrif's office and REACT now a part of Apple's marketing team? Anybody who thinks Apple did this is an idiot at this point. Early on I could understand...didn't agree, but understood. With all the info out there now, only a fool would continue thinking that way.
 
Yes, Apple purposely leaked their phones. I'm sure they wanted to lose perspective 3G and 3GS buyers for the quarter. Apple doesn't care about financial statements or anything nor do their shareholders.

Also, since the iPhone is one of the least popular phones ever, they obviously wanted some attention.
