iPhone XR Does any wait for the price drop on last years models?

I might be odd, I never buy the latest phone, always too expensive for me, I wait for a reduction in price on the previous year's models, CUrrently eyeing up 12 or maybe even 11.

I think that's a smart way to go. I feel the same way about cars.

I think the only time I bought the previous years model is when I got my 256 X for $650 shortly after XS release. If the price diff were only $100 like it usually is, I think I’d opt for the newer model.

For the iPhone 13 that'll be a good plan. The only time in iPhone history where the next models blew away the previous one was when the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus came out. They were fundamentally different (much bigger) than the 5S.
