I get a lot better service on my 5 than I did my 4s for some reason. My parents live in an extended network and when I would visit them, I would usually have service problems. I came down this weekend to visit and I haven't had near the service problems, and its a lot more consistent. Is anyone else getting better cell reception?

i'm on a verizon galaxy nexus and the gf has the iphone 5. i compared the two inside buildings for reception and the iPhone 5 consistently won out. I came out impressed. It could hold LTE connection much better than the Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

There's concert hall where my prior phones would have very poor reception being relegated to 2 or 3 G.

Last night, I tried it with the new iPhone and reception was at least 4G and noticeably faster than my prior devices. This could be because of ATT, since my prior phones were with a different carrier.

With the iPhone 5 on Verizon I'm getting 1-2 bars in my home, but I can make and receive calls. With the iPhone 4 AT&T I needed to go out to the end of my driveway to make a call. Not sure if the improved reception is the 5 vs 4 or Verizon vs ATT

iPhone 5 on AT&T. Best reception of any iPhone yet and I have owned every one. I am very pleased.
Peace!
