I bought two of them and I use both of them regularly. Here's why:
I live with my brother and I have a 40" Samsung LCDTV in the living room. I first just bought one PS3 and was just taking turns playing it with my brother in the living room. Except, it would suck if he wanted to watch TV or a movie and I couldn't play it.
So I bought a small 23" LED Samsung computer monitor for my room. It has an HDMI port as well as an audio out port for external speakers. It works great for the PS3, plus it has no lag! Then I would just move the PS3 into my room for gaming while my brother used the big TV.
Well, this soon turned into a whole other pain because I also used it as a Blu-ray player... so I'd have to keep moving it back and forth between rooms. (I actually like playing in my room better anyway because of the no lag monitor I'm using.) So I bought and returned a few Blu-ray players from Samsung and Sony and I didn't like any of them. Most of them were slow, cheesy and I either didn't like the UI or the remote.
So after fighting with finding a Blu-ray player I liked, I just broke down and bought a second PS3. This actually turned out to be a great investment because now my brother and I can play together at the same time and we can watch Blu-rays without having to move equipment around. It worked out great. Plus, I bought the PS3 Blu-ray remote and it's pretty slick.
Does anyone else own two PS3s or am I just weird?
