does anybody know how to get ichat back?

my friend deleted ichat by mistake (dont ask me why) lol and i was wondering how to install back on a macbook pro ive tried the restore disks but it doesnt have ichat unless you restore the whole computer back to normal so any suggestions would be nice

How did it not work?

This is what Pacifist is designed to do, and it works for just about everybody else. Did you follow the instructions on the Pacfist site? You're browsing the install disc through Pacifist and just installing the single iChat package.

So can you give us more details about what went wrong?

oops my bad i thought i had to search through mac osx but not through the disks im trying now

Just give him a copy from your computer. Burn it to a disc, copy it to a flash drive or something.
