Hello.
I just got news that my gnarly brother got out of jail :mad:and im worried my $1500 baby is going to go missing. Should I get a kensington cable, LoJack, or what do YOU think??

Um... you're worried your OWN brother will steal your macbook? Don't let him in the house then, if you don't trust him. Just some personal tips! :D

Have a look at Undercover by Orbicule. I believe its cheaper and offers just the same (if not more) features.

LoJack is a better option than the others because it can survive OS reinstalls.

So if you feel you need it, get it. He can reinstall OS X and it won't affect it.

To me it would make more sense to use a Kensington lock to PREVENT theft, than to use LoJack to RECOVER after it's stolen.

Have you heard of LockDown? it uses your remote and the motion sensors in your computer. it takes a pic and sets off a loud alarm when you move the laptop while armed. It also makes the beep boop sound like when you lock your car, lol.

DEFINITELY get a lock cable- they are life savers from theft AND drops.

You could also get a fingerprint scanner if you are really hardcore...

It really depends as far as loJack goes. I don't know how the pricing for it goes but it sounds promising!:)

Make sure you write your name, phone and other info on the inside of the battery cover!;)

Good luck!:)
