I would be so upset if this happened. I ordered matte but would MUCH prefer it in standard resolution.

Anybody else? Thoughts?

Don't think so and I feel the same about wanting AG in standard res. So I just ordered a refurb 15" anti-glare from the Apple Store.

As I recall the anti-glare for the 15" on the last refresh did not happen until about a mont after the launch.

Apple should offer it it instead of trying to leverage people into the higher resolution model. Some of us just find it hard on the eyes and how it makes certain things, like web size images, smaller.

when everyone already complaining there is 1920x1200 resolution on a 15" I dont see Apple pushing out more 1440 15" screens =) I think the new resolution is awesome, though I love my toys, I think 1920 is a bit much for 15"

I hope so.

I can't handle the high resolution for long periods of time. Eye strain..

The high res will soon be the default across the line, why should Apple take a step backwards in resolution.

It is most definitely not a step backward. High resolution is a side step and for some it is simply counter productive. Horrible eye strain and smaller web pictures is just not acceptable as a standard.
