Does anybody use 4Shadow?

I am wondering why 4Shadow is running 100% CPU permanently. (http://4shadowapp.com) The folks there are not communicative at all.

Then, when I open a VPN to my workplace, it always shows an ARP Man-in-the-Middle-Poisoning. With another VPN provider, there is no ARP alert. Is this normal? What does this mean?
