I was just curious because I was looking in there to check my liquid indicator (still white thank god) and I noticed two weird scuff-like markings and I was wondering is it my apple cord scratching the inside of my connector or is it common?

So I ask that everyone check and see if there are friction scuffs on yours as well.

Thanks:apple:

No no! Lol I mean what is visible from the outside looking in (no disassembly required).

I know, I know. OCD.

Very light markings on the inside of the steel on both sides. The black plastic inside is definitely scratched up due to the connecting cable. It's like this with all iPhones.

I can't even see inside the dock connector without special optical equipment.

Its just a freaking phone man!
