Does anyone else think D22 sounds cooler than iPhone X?

I kinda wish they went with like a BB8 style internal code name, over iPhone X.

Even iPhone Edition, or iPhone OLED, or iPhone 10th Anniversary Editiion, would be better.

Not digging iPhone X.

D22? No, definitely not a cooler name. I think they should ditch the numbers and call the "7s" just iPhone and then call the "X" iPhone Pro. It's what they do with their iPads, MacBooks, iMacs, etc.

I can't wait for the MacBook Pro 24!

D22 is a terrible name. Keep in mind Apple's largest market is overseas. The naming has to cross cultural boundaries too.

Ok the internal code name wouldn’t in any likelihood be the actual name, or displace use of iPhone in its name

I’m just saying, iphoneX sounds really bad to me. Like the worst choice of multiple things to add onto iPhone at the end

Well, it is the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, so X is someone apropos.

That said, I think I would've preferred iPhone Pro, though X is just fine with me. I really didn't like the rumored iPhone Edition naming option.
