havent tried .2 cause I'm not ready to remove the battery estimate from menubar right now,

a quick flip of off and on of wifi works, but I dont think its my router's problem because I have airport extreme

THO it was on 7.7.7 fw and just brought it to latest .8, but I dunno

only thing I have that is internet/wifi related is iStat menus, but its latest version and not interfering afaik

Not for nothing, but you may be better off updating to the latest version and then getting iStat Menus, as that may give you what you want in the battery display.

Hmm,, I see

but that gives a battery indicator to replace the stock one, a slightly different aesthetic no? Is the battery estimate 'as' accurate as stock prior to .2 In your experience?

also do you know if .2 has any success from bug fix list or anecdotes of people having less network problems?

I definitely would chalk this up to a software/Sierra bug, but

thanks for your help
