I'm having some odd behavior with my iPhone. I leave it docked when I'm home and I've noticed over the past 2 days that it will randomly sync itself.

What I mean by this is that it'll be in the 3G dock (for a while) and then, all by itself, it will emit that sound that it normally plays when you have just plugged it into the computer (the chirp) and then it will go through a sync.

Anyone experiencing this?

Mine did it this morning for the 1st time. Phone said syncing but iTunes said nothing?

Is the iPhone hooked up to a USB hub? If the power level on the USB hub fluctuated for any reason, it's possible the iPhone will see that as you reconnecting it.
