I recently got my MacBook Pro repaired under the keyboard replacement program, and I was just wondering if this is normal.

There is no reason to press the trackpad harder than a force press, so Apple probably hasn't designed it for that kind of abuse. The machine has hollow spaces inside, so if you press hard enough it wouldn't surprise me that you might hear a hollow sound.

Thank you. I was just paranoid after getting my keyboard replaced, ya know, OCD and all. If it seems normal, then I'll just ignore it.
