Does anyone find apple trackpad click a bit too hard. Especially clicking while dragging???

I know that you can enable tap to click. Am I the only one who never uses physical click or everyone does that???

I don't click the trackpad.

I personally love the trackpad, I use both the MBP tack pad and the magic trackpad.

Physical solution?

Not sure if this will help you, it seemed a little vague in your OP.

Anyway, I had some serious trackpad issues a while back due to battery swelling that made it very annoying to say the least. Under the trackpad there is a tri-screw that adjusts the tension of the trackpad, you could make it easier or more responsive to physical clicks or more rigid or tight for strictly taps if that's what you like. I had adjusted mine as much as I could but swapped the battery, I had no idea how loose I had the trackpad until I got the new battery.

Overall I use tap and rarely ever click both on my MacBook Pro and magic trackpad.

I use hard click because I've gotten used to it. It's just easier when I'm doing click and drag.

I use both tap to click and physically clicking. Depends on how precise I want to be, sometimes I find that tapping is actually easier, if I'm doing light work, but when I am doing something where I need to be really accurate I like to actually click it.

It is not hard to click, and even if it is, I would trade it being hard to physically click for the quality of the trackpad any day of the week.

In OS X Lion you can drag by just holding and sweeping 3 fingers on the trackpad when the mouse pointer is on a selected item or a window bar, no click or tap required.
Works extremely well for me!

I think the best feature of the trackpad is the physical click. I hate the tap to click. I honestly can't imagine a better trackapad than what my MBP has.

OP, you should make it possible to select both the options, because I both tap and click to click. depends on my mood.

I have a moshi trackpad film on mine, and the touch to tap sensitivity has dropped dramatically. I use the click and although I do find it sort of loud, it is very tolerable.

I use the physical click.

I would always tap to click by accident if I had it enabled.

When doing click and drag, I click with my pointer finger and drag with my middle finger, just like I did for 6 years on my Powerbook

I'm a tap to click kind of guy, but make sure you're clicking towards the BOTTOM of the trackpad. Easier to click.

I only use physical click for click and drag.
Use the thumb at the bottom of the pad where resistance is lowest and you drag.
