Since I got the phone on launch day, my banking app has been having issues, forcing me to verify myself using an alternate method; then, when the app prompts me to trust the device, and I click yes, I get a "technical issues" message. I've called my bank a few times, and every time they give a different excuse, but today they blamed it on the iPhone 13 and said it's affecting everyone with the phone and not just their app, and they're working with Apple to fix it.
I was surprised with that response since I have no clue how it would be a phone issue, and I haven't heard of something widespread, so I wonder if anyone else has run into something similar with an app? Even better, does anyone in Canada who banks with RBC and has 2-step verification on having the same issue?
