No one here in middle Ga do? Just curious...has anyone bought one in the last few days?

Nevermind...didn't read the posts below...I upgraded 2 wks ago to the sgs3 and now I wanna go back to the "stifling" iOS iphone5... Lol...I just thought I should try the comp at least once while I had the chance. I did and I like a lot of features of sgs3 but I missed my 4s. I went in to turn my droid to AT&T and upgrade to the 5 but they didn't have any...no I have to go back to my 4s til the 5 comes in. Thank goodness I hadn't ebayed it yet...oh well, guess I'll get in line like the rest of America...

Lol...yes sir I did...they don't, nor the next town over. We have no apple retail stores within 2 hrs of me...but I doubt they have any in atl anyway.
 
i was able to pick up 4 from a sprint store a couple days ago. they did not have any 16 gbs left. guy said they had good amount in stock.
 
The verizon stores in town here had a bunch of 32's and 64's this past weekend. No 16's though.

the at&T iphone is in high demand as usual. However Verizon and Sprint have extra stock around. so you might be waiting for a while unless you have a radioshack/best buy/target/walmart around you
 
Well dang, I wished I lived where y'all do...nothing here in middle georgia

It's almost impossible to find it anywhere. The Apple Store here hasn't had any 32gb black AT&T models in over a week now. Nothing tonight either. Just keep checking religiously or order one and wait a month. I haven't seen shortages like this with previous phones, so I'm not sure if apple is having supply problems or what.

depending on how badly you want the phone you could do personal pickup right now, it will tell you what apple stores have it in your area.
 
I was able to pick up 2 black AT&T iPhone 5 16gb in a matter or a week. I called all the stores and found 1 RadioShack that had 1 left. Then my preorder from Walmart came in, I found out they recieved 1 or 2 extra phone after fullfillig the 5 preorder.. This phone is in high demand..

Just have att direct fulfill it for you. Thats the only way to get it, and they are showing they ship in a couple days. It will be mailed to your home. Locations will not have stock probably until closer to the holidays. :cool:

I just got back from sams club and they had 17 available for sale for tomorrow morning I couldnt buy one cause I'm upgrade eligible but the only way I can get one is if I ordered through AT&T go figure

Waiting in line like the rest of America doesn't seem very patriotic. Why don't you complain, whine and call apple multiple times maybe they will bump you from the queue. Oh be prepared to play the "I'll sue" card if they offer you anything reasonable like.. "please order now and your order will be processed in 14-21 days due to back log.

That's what I did. It does not ship in a few days lol. It was ordered on 9/30, still on backorder...

WOW...that is a long A$$ wait!!! Im still kicking myself because when I got the SGS3 2 weeks ago my local ATT store had several ip5s and I could have and prolly should just got one then. But I thought...I keep hearing how SGS3 is a better phone...more customizable...etc...so I thought I would see how the other half lives. Turned out to be a mistake cause I miss my iphone.
 
Every VZW store in Chicago has 64GB, no other model. Guess no body wants to spend the money on those. So I will wait for a 16GB or 32GB to show up
