I got the clear one for my 30gb iPod. I have to say it's really good and fits on well. The screen protector is already quite scratched, but at least my iPod is fine. You can always buy replacement screen protectors. One thing I found is that it attracts hairs in your pocket :p

I am looking for a case that I will be able to take the iPod out of the house and actually use it without fear of scratching horror stories. I have heard alot and I went a relatively not bulky case that will keep it scratch and knick free.

I was looking at the zCover models and I think this one should do it.

Does anyone have any ideas?
i have a zcover and it is an EXTREMLY(sp) good case. i have this one though http://www.zcover.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=201 i definatly recommend it

edit: i also agree with starnox, it does seem to attract a lot of gair and lkint, etc.

I can't really tell in the pictures, how does the screen protector work, and does it even work?
thanks.

its about a quarter inch thick and it gets held in place by the sides of the silicon it holds really well

Well, I have been hearing nothing but good things about this product. So that doesn't damage the screen at all?

This seems to be the thing to go with. Thanks alot.

No there are 4 'bubbles' on the screen side of the piece of plastic, lifting it above the screen so it doesn't scratch it :)

I have one for my 5G iPod too, I keep it in the case all the time, the case is really good, the screen protector is clear and easy to read through, it does seem to attract hairs though, I like the belt clip as it can be removed (and in my case lost in my house somewhere :( ) it also doesn't make the iPod too big... The silicon got a bit loose and flimsy but seems to have hardened slightly with use so it stay's on perfectly... The wheel is certainly useable but can be a little slow when browsing songs (compared to my 3G iPod without a case and other mp3 players (but Apple need to find a way to make this quicker anyway...) this is only a problem when you have a full 30GB of songs...
