Does anyone here have the Creative Pebble v3 speakers?

Hi All,

I'm looking for some relatively cheap, easy USB speakers. It's important for me to control the volume from OS X directly. Can you do this with the Pebble V3 speakers? Thanks!

I have a pair. They're great value for the price, IMO.

You can control the volume from macOS, but this doesn't override the dial on the speakers. The total volume is a combination of the two. YMMV but you could have the dial always set to a specific point (halfway, two thirds or max, say) and use the OS volume control to vary to requirements.
