where I can find that program which allows you to switch between programs by tapping the side of your powerbooks screen? There was a video link and it was well cool, as when you tapped the edge of your screen, the whole page slid over to bring in your other applicatiion....would really like to get it for my Macbook PRO

Thanks - thats the one - does anyone know how to get this up and running on a Macbook Pro 1.8? The terminal frightens me:D

There is another version of Smackbook for VirtueDesktop that operates entirely outside of the command line.

Pretty simple to get running, just download, double click on it in your Applications and then start beating the s*** out of your Powerbook.

Right -

Projectle - can you post links.

I found and installed Slapbook ok - from your link Semaja - it now asks me to locate Virtualdektops.app - where do I find this?? I checked Versiontracker and the closest I could find was Codetek Virtualdesktop - but that doesn't seem to be working.

Help......

UPDATE - THINK I FOUND IT!

Cheers all - up and running and wacking away at my powerbook:D

Now does anyone no how to make it stop saying " left " and " right " everytime it changes, take the edge off its coolness IMHO

Now,
do you think it will be possible to integrate SmackBook into the new desktop manager for OSX 10.5 "Spaces"?

I'm not into coding and fiddling around hacking stuff, do you think it will be possible to simply download a program and have it "just work"?

Maybe Apple could give it to us as an easter egg?

Smackbook is integrated as an option in VirtueDesktops already, I believe.
