19 million iPads were sold by Mar 2011, prior to the release of the iPad2. Safe bet we are well over 20 million by now.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that it's somewhere in the area of 25M or so now. 19M of the original before the 2 was announced, and sales only keep picking up.

It's been 2.5 months since the 2 was released. At production rates of 4-5 million a month, I wouldn't be surprised if the number is close to 30M by now. And this without factoring in the backlog globally. Still can't order online from Apple in many places.
