Now that the corners actually resize, sliding up from bottom left or right won't take screenshots anymore. On iphones it's not much of a hassle because I'm always holding it, but my ipad is usually flat down on a desk and pressing power + volume is a pain. Is there a setting I'm missing or is there a different gesture that still works?

Hmm…that is pretty unfortunate. ☹️

Two easy ways to do this. One, in Accessibility, enable Assistive touch and set it for one tap option to take a screenshot. I did that in the past but found that having that floating Home button icon always on the screen got in the way, so I stopped using that. But just now I went to Shortcuts and created a Screenshot icon that I can place anywhere I want on the Home Screen. The disadvantage is that it’s on the Home Screen and might not be accessible when you want to use it. It could be added to the dock and the dock pulled up whenever you want to take one. Or the Assitive Touch button which would always be on the screen regardless of your windows.

No, that still works. Left lower corner.
That’s good. Wonder why a physical swipe would have been eliminated, or is that a bug. I’m on 18.6 and I tried using the shortcut icon I created for screenshots. Even though the screen flashed as if one were taken I could not find any place where it would have wound up. There was no mini picture at the bottom left as there is when taking a screenshot, just the flash. So with 26 I guess I would be using the pencil also. That upward diagonal swipe was the most convenient way, although the Assistive Touch virtual button does work very well but always remains onscreen. Fortunately it does not appear in the image taken when you initiate the screenshot.
