Well you cant get it from AT&T soon so your best bet would be order it from apple.com and have them ship it...they are stating if you order by the 17th you should have it on launch day...19th..or take a chance and stand in line

It depend where are you ordering it from. Apple UK ships the Black 8GB within two days. The rest are not available. As from the U.S from reading other thread it does look like it will take similar duration if not more. My advice to you, if you are in a hurry (and want a guarantee to get before the weekend) to go to the store very early on Friday.

You know, at this point, I'm guessing that it's too late for you to order a phone to be shipped to your home by the 19th... actually, I take that back, TODAY is prolly the LAST day.

Starting tomorrow, I think if you want an iPhone, you'll have to get in line...

Yeah I'm thinking what I'll do is order is online from Apple tonight, and just call them up and cancel if it looks bad. Dangit dangit. I wish I had just pre-ordered from AT&T back last week instead of mulling over the decision. I could've had the phone by 8am Friday, been at work by 9, and a much happier person.
