Hey, this is my first post on this forum so please excuse me if this is in the wrong forum. :p

Does anyone know what this menu icon is?

Thanks!

Where is it located (Menu Bar I suppose) and what happens if you (right-) click on it or just hover over it?

Have you taken a look at your startup items in System Preferences > Accounts > your account > Login Items?

It was taken from a screenshot I found, and yes it is on the menu bar.

You're definitely in the right forum. I've not seen that one before... looks Visual Studio-ish. Maybe from MonoDevelop?

I had a look at their website but it didn't give any idea as to what the menu bar icon looked like.

Looks like two discs together.

Can you post a screenshot of Activity Monitor with "All Processes" shown?

This might help narrow it down.

Look here

HD/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/

You might be able to identify which one it is.

Command-drag should remove a Menu Extra from the Menu Bar. Double clicking a .menu file in that folder should add the Menu Extra to the Menu Bar.
