Does anyone unlock Sprint 4s for international carriers??

Hi all,

I have an iphone 4s locked to Sprint with clean esn. I want it unlocked for international carriers.
Anyone succeed unlocking your phone activated after 11/11/2011?
What's the requirement for unlocking and what's its process?

If it was activated prior to that date it is already unlocked. Sold my 2 on ebay as such and they had no issues.
 
If not, call Sprint tech support and request the unlock. They should unlock it for you.
 
it has to still be on Sprint to do that from what they said when I called to ask.

Won't work. There is no way to unlock an iPhone other than through the carrier. Not like every other phone where you can unlock it for a few bucks.

Had a business colleague who paid someone $200 to unlock his iPhone 4s. They sent him a copy of the web page for Gevy. True story. Seller craftily only specified detailed instructions for HOW to do the unlock. Not sure if the guy got his money back or not.
