I've gotten pretty used to it, I'm afraid of ruining my home button so I've got assistive touch on. Anyone else?

Facepalm..... Makes me laugh when people don't use stuf has it was intended to be used becaus they are afraid to break it......Get a life....

I have it enabled on my touch, because its home button doesn't work that well.

I'm so sorry that I spent $200 on something and want to keep it perfect. Certainly doesn't mean I don't have a life.

Is there a way to do a custom gesture like swipe up or circle to do the home button functionality. Seems like currently there is none

Then don't buy it.

I find these threads quite crazy too. I'm keeping this phone for 2 years, - I'd much rather enjoy it than worry about every little nick.

I would jailbreak it once untethered jailbreak is available and use Activator to use gesture to mimic the home button.

I, like many here, have owned at least one of each iPhone to hit the market. My 3GS, 4, and 4S all look and run fine and have had their home buttons pounded like a cheerlea--well never mind that. The home button can take your abuse.

Wow, there are some poor people buying iPhones these days. Just ****ing use the thing. Apple tests products way beyond what you could imagine.
