Does anyone use Cineform's NeoScene ?

Hello,

I find that the Apple conversion to AIC for AVCHD introduces quality issue that I can't get around, so, does anyone use CineFoms NeoScene to convert AVCHD to .MOV instead of Apple's AIC codec?
The web site makes great claims for the quality, but then they would say that.
Any independent, unbiased view available on this?:apple:
