I really like that I can hook my iPod up to my new Ford Escape and play my music directly from it. The only problem is the playlist feature doesn't work and I can't play any songs I bought from iTunes. Does anyone else have this problem? I know all iTunes songs are now DRM free, so new songs will probably work, but most of my songs are older...

No one had any answers at the Sync forum

I use a 5th gen. iPod classic in my Focus. I haven't had any troubles getting playlists to work or downloaded content to play. My only problem is with how it "syncs" the system with the iPod, and it always tells me it was unable to sync the entire device.

But anyways, when problems start up for me, I usually go into the Sync menu and do a "System Reset". Then start from scratch and resync the ipod. That usually fixes any problems. I sometimes settle for just using the line in port rather than the usb. Sync is great, but has a lot of bugs.
