Does Apple have a buy back program?

I friend of mine heard that if you're in the market for a new MacBook/MacBook Pro, you can bring in your old Mac and they'll give you cash for it. Top dollar even. I heard they give something like 10% off a new iPod if you bring in your old one. Is this the case with Macs? Does Apple have a buy-back program?

Yup. It's called eBay.

Seriously though. No they don't — at least not for Macs…

Apple does not have a buyback program but they do have a recycling program.

However, there are a few Mac Retailers that have their own buyback programs. I believe PowerMax is one of them.
