The 4G/HD leak is a fairly big deal, to us anyhow. But mainstream news organizations haven't really picked up the story. That means the full benefit of the buzz isn't really playing in Apple's favor. The leak is not a household word. But Apple's competition has certainly viewed the pics, no doubt with great interest.

So is the leak a good thing or a bad thing for Apple? Try to be objective...

There have been no cease and desist orders. Some say that means the leak is a decoy. I say Apple wouldn't waste their time with a decoy. Could the lack of C&D mean Apple has finally come around to the notion that leaks create buzz and that buzz is a good thing?
