I'm using mail for my AOL and MobileMe email accounts. When I send an email from my aol mail account, it doesn't show up in my sent folder on my iPhone. Is this normal?

It will only sync folders like that if using an IMAP account like MobileMe. I don't believe AOL uses IMAP, so it won't sync folders.

Go into the Mail preferences, select your accounts individually, and see where they're set for storing the Sent email. It may be keeping them locally on your Mac and not on the Sent folder on the server. If so, you can change that preference.

It was already checked. Outlook on mac downloads the sent folders so it's going to the sent folder on the server. Therefore, it must be a problem with the iphone. Thanks for this suggestion though. At least I was able to mark this off as not being the problem.
