Does Apple Make Usable Demos for its High-End Apps?

Hey all,

I was searching the wen and having trouble finding this information so I figured I would ask the forum....

I am currently doing some mid-level video editing and DVD authoring and I feel like I may be able to benefit from some additional functionality beyond iDVD and iMovie 6 HD.

Before I drop money on something else though, I was wondering if Apple had any usable demos of their products....like Adobe does for Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc?

If they don't, does maybe another company that makes competing software offer a high end DVD/Movie tool that I could Demo before trying?
