Will Apple be seeing an increase in revenue due to this device?

I should imgaine they will atleast equel what they got for the 3GS in profit margins.

A lot more things used to build the iPhone is now cheaper then when the 3GS came out along with things needed to build the iPhone 4, which means that there is more profit for Apple.

even if they sold it at a loss they would still profit in the bigger picture in my opinion....

So many people I have spoken to (myself included) ended up buying a mac of some description because of the experience with the iPhone.

You'd almost wonder how they could profit on this one, given the cutting edge features like the cameras, screen, and that crazy-strong aircraft glass. But something tells me they will make a sweet profit on each and every one;)

They always do...

it costs ~200 dollars for apple to make, they sell it to ATT for 600, so yeah i think they profit

No. Apple loses $10.18 on every iPhone but they make it up in volume.

Whoever said there are no stupid questions didn't know what they were talking about.
