I have had my iPhone 3G since July 11 08, and since then i have dropped and scratched my phone which has certainly affected the aesthetics of the device. Having a white iPhone, all the scratches on the back are very noticeable. Since i have decided to give a pass on the 3G S, does anyone know if Apple does any replacements for the actual cases themselves (obviously i would be happy to pay for it)? Its not a big deal, as my phone still works just as well as the day i got it. It would just be nice to freshen up the phones appearance (seeing as how i will have it for at least another year). :)

your still under warranty so just go back to an apple store and tell them you get crappy service or something, and if your lucky and persistant they will replace it for you...

Cool. I will head down to the Apple store tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks for the help!

If you take the trouble to read Apple's Limited Warranty, you'll see that your 'phone is not covered! :(

Call your Apple store and see if they will still swap out a water damaged phone for $199..... If they do then drive down and swap it out. If they won't because it's not water damaged, go out to the parking lot and pour some water into the earphone plug... walk back in and swap.

Schedule a genius bar appointment, tell them you get crappy service places your friend has great service and he has the same phone. Tell them your phone freezes too, theyll replace it.
