In a van down by the river
Does anyone know if Apple still offers a flat fee for Repair Depot work on the Mac? It has been many years since I made use of the program and may need to again. Anyone have any recent experience and if so, do you recall pricing?

I recently contacted Apple service via chat and they did not offer a flat rate repair on my Macbook.

They said they needed to confirm the repairs before quoting a price..

Thank you very much for the reply.
I just dropped off my 2018 15” mbp for suspected logic board failure and was given flat rate 2 price ($678). Was told anything that needed to be replaced would at that price. The lcd is bad too, so idk how thats possible, but I’ll see in about a week.

So I got my 2018 15” MBP back from depot. Flat rate was increased due to water damage. $1475 plus tax. I could’ve definitely bought a used one for less, but I decided to have mine repaired. Screen was cracked when I sent it in as I was using with external monitor only. They replaced EVERYTHING for that price though. I had the 2.6, 32Gb, 512Gb, 560x. Literally everything was replaced. had there not been water damage my total would’ve been first quoted price.
This will be my last intel MacBook, I have a M1 pro as well. Lost all data, but that was expected. My only regret was not purchasing AppleCare, but I always took great care of prior MacBooks.
