Does apple tv have an itunes dj function

Is it possible to run itunes dj on an apple tv without running itunes. If not is there a hack to do that. Also is it possible to connect to the itunes dj on apple tv using remote app on ipod touch

If you sync your music into your ATV instead of streaming it from your computer's iTunes library, you can play it from your ATV when your computer is shutdown and iTunes is not running. This works great with the Remote app on an iPod Touch. Remote App can be set up to connect either to your iTunes program or, directly to the Apple TV.

You control which content gets synced onto the ATV from the iTunes application. Just click the Apple TV under the Devices tab, then select the Music tab. I sync all my music to my 40GB Apple TV and stream all my video from an external hard drive.
