Does Apple TV Remote and Always On Display NOT work for anybody else? Mine just refuses to work.

On the new iPhones with AOD, Apple TV Remote is supposed to stay on even after the screen auto-locks itself. On my iPhone, the app simply disappears once the screen is locked.

I tried restarting but to no avail.

Anybody else with this issue?
