It seems every so often that the smilies re-arrange themselves. It's not such a big problem, just one of those little nagging things I was curious about. So do the smilies re-arrange themselves automatically, or is this just arn's idea of fun?

no, and there is at least one other thread on this subject. afaik, its an unknown bug in VBulliten.
They do that so you'll learn to just type them instead of moving over to click them.
Also, emoticons are unionized, so we have little so say over how they want to organize.
