In philly, AT&T has just upgraded some towers to HSDPA+...

I'm getting 4-5mbps down and 1-2 mbps up with the speedtest app and tethering is also fast.

I will upload screenshots later of the results but did your area get HSPA+ yet?

Post speed test results and your area.

So far,
these following ares have HSDPA/HSUPA+

philly,

Im in central FL, close to Orlando, my 3G speeds had been excellent until a few weeks ago, my upload speeds have stayed rock steady at around 1250k, my DL speeds however have become very erratic, and overall much slower. I used to consistently get 3000-4000k down, now I max out at around 2500k, but more often it's closer to 1000k, one minute it'll be 2000, the next, 500, it's all over the place and getting worse every day. I have to wonder what AT&T is doing.

How would one go around checking if they do or don't have HSPA in our areas? My school has speeds averaging at about 4,500-5,000 KBPS, but I have no clue if that's just good old regular 3G. Also, I've noticed it's very sporadic. I can walk five feet inside a building and I drop to 20KBPS, literally.

Lucky...

We don't even have 3G yet here... it's about 45 min away in every direction though, so I'm hopeful that we'll get upgraded soon. As for HSPA+... you'll have 4G or 5G before I see that! :D

Hmmm...
