iPhone 11 Pro Does AT&T Lock Phones Under iPhone Upgrade Program?

I have Verizon (corporate plan) so I have to enter in the carrier details of a friend’s account. They have AT&T.

Even though I’m doing iPhone Upgrade Program, do you think AT&T has a lock on the phone? I plan on just popping out the SIM Card before turning on the new phone and putting my Verizon SIM in.

I don’t think I’ll have an issue, but heard something weird that AT&T locks phones no matter what for 30-60 days.

I don’t want to be out of luck on launch day.

If you buy IUP and finance through Citizen One, the device will be unlocked.

I'm not sure, however, if the AT&T iPhone 11 Pro will come with CDMA radio.

Thank you! Yeah according to Apple’s website they will once again be selling 1 model in America that supports Verizon AND AT&T. So no matter what iPhone you buy in America, they all are the same.

If you use next payment plan the phone will be locked to AT&T. Once paid off completely you can have AT&T unlock it.

If you get phone paying full price it will be unlocked.
