I Googled it and the answer I think I got is they do but you can opt out of it but I do not know how. Also, if they do track it do the websites you visited show up on the bill?

No, the websites visited do no show up on your bill. If you are so worried about this, I suggest you stop visiting websites that if known would embarrass you.;)

This is becoming most amusing.
I'd vote we make this subject a sticky :p (pun intended)

Mods;
Please make another new sticky
Subject: Does my carrier track and itemize my interwebz surfin'?

Body:
Short answer: No

Medium answer: Stop surfin' pr0n or other sites your worried about people knowing about.

Long answer; AT&T has historically rolled over to gov't requests for wiretapping and handing over customers data. However for us peons, i'd suspect a court order and some $$$$ would need to change hands.
