iPod touch does backup save my music as well??

I searched it but couldn't find it

Anyway, when I backup my iPod Touch through itunes, does it backup the music on it as well??

I thought it would but the backup only took about 10 mins, and that seems a bit short for 8gb of music.

So if i restore my ipod now will it still have all my music on it?

It doesn't back up your music since your music comes from iTunes onto your Touch anyway. It would just be redundant data.

yea its just that i got my music off 2 different computers so half the music isnt on the computer that im backing it up to
