iPhone Does biteSMS work on iOS 7.1.2 JB

Does biteSMS work probably on the iOS 7.1.2 jailbreak?

On the bitesms forums, there are a few people saying that biteSMS is causing the crashing to safe mode

Yes, it is causing me to crash every time. Using a 5S on 7.1.2.

aww, that's a shame. that might make me hold back on updating to iOS 7.1.2 for the time (still on 7.1.1)

I wonder if this also affects 32 bit devices too or only 64 bit devices

I have the iPhone 5 if that helps

If you can deal with aukis limitations it's running on 7.1.2. I've been waiting for bite but looks like they're focusing on iOS 8.

uninstall biteSMS, delete the folders in var/mobile/Libary/biteSMS and biteThemes and reinstall. this solved my problem, now works fine on 7.1.2

For what its worth, I'm on 7.1 , BiteSMS version 8.2 works good.

I'm on 8.3 beta 3, and not having any issues. TWO iPhone 5S 7.1.2 and Pangu JB 1.1... so whoever said it's not working, not sure what you have installed that's conflicting, but I have it installed as the only tweak and it's working fine, so it's inaccurate to say it's not compatible and crashes, because it's clearly another tweak in conjunction that's crashing.

hmm, thanks. I'll be testing it out when i update my iphone 5 from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 this weekend and see how it goes

it is not entirely compatible though; for example, the quick compose button in notification center does not work

Mine does... you sure you don't have some other tweak that's modifying the lock screen\notification center that's interfering?

Oh, that's so weird, it's working now! I remember it not working when I had it installed a few days ago

It kept registering as if I tapped the arrow to close notification center

I'll see later today if maybe a lot of notifications cause that to happen (meaning you have to scroll to see the rest of your notifications)

I do have lockinfo7 installed

I think lock info may have some negative impact on it... maybe the same sort of bug that was causing the camera glitch? Lockpages add-on tweak. If i install that (or any tweak that uses it as an add-on), the camera and the quick compose button stop working.

Oh, then there is a possibility the beta version of lockpages or lockinfo update in the last few days fixed that bug. I'll check that out later tonight

Edit: never mind, I can't tap the quick compose button in notification center anymore, it just closes notification center

Edit: uninstalled lockinfo7 and all dependencies and the notification center's quick compose button still doesn't work
