Does CarPlay or AirPods enable "Hey Siri"

I intentionally did not set up Hey Siri, but at some point it was turned on. I noticed CarPlay enabled announce notifications without asking when setting up – did it do the same for Hey Siri?

Actually believe this is AirPods Pro 3 doing this. It doesn't prompt you to set up Hey Siri like the Pro 2's. Just seems to silently enable it.

I never had Siri turned on until I got a car with CarPlay, Siri enabled is a CarPlay requirement, during setup I got prompted to turn it on.

Did it also turn on the setting for listen for "hey Siri" or "Siri"? Something enabled mine and I am curious about what it is. I noticed AirPods Pro 3 doesn't prompt to enable it so it may just quietly enable it. I can turn it on without doing the voice training while AirPods are connected but it wants me to do the setup when it's not.

I am pretty sure, but is is like 3 years ago. I just remember having always Siri enabled it forced me to setup Siri
